Update

After a few setbacks with Ethan's surgery dates, changing our airline tickets, trying to find a place to stay while there, etc., we are finally set.
Collette at the Quantum House was able to work with us and give us a place to stay, which was a very big relief for us since they are across the street from the hospital.
So we fly in on May 17th, 18th will be pre-op and MRI, 19th is surgery day.

Side note: for people trying to schedule a surgery with Dr. Paley, you have to be flexible and strong. His assistant, Sarah, makes many mistakes and it cost us plenty of money to move our travel plans. So just be weary and try to stay on top of your dates or she will change them.

Ethan's surgery date

Ethan's surgery date has been moved up a day to May 19th. He was originally scheduled for the 20th, but due to some scheduling conflicts, we have to settle for this date. We are really hoping nothing comes up again before his surgery. We already purchased our airline tickets, so now they want to charge $150 per ticket to move it up a day. Ridiculous, but we have to roll with the punches right now. Have to keep reminding myself that everything we do is for our son. Then everything just gets better and I calm down. Just have to put everything into perspective.
Ethan's MRI and pre-op will be on the 18th.
Just pray the Ethan does not develop a cold or anything else before then or we will have to reschedule.
